Program Description:
The Science Lab of Grand Hank (SLOGH) is a live and interactive television show produced by Grand Hank
Production, Inc. in collaboration with The School District of Philadelphia. Returning to the air for its
15th season, the show is developed around the National Standards for Science Education and is designed
to increase the interest and enrollment of students in the areas of science and technology. The series is
hosted by, nationally renowned scientist and educator, Grand Hank.
Program Format:
The (SLOGH) series combines contemporary Hip-Hop music with exciting science demonstrations. Each
episode features a special Master of Ceremony (MC), along with one of the top rated Disc Jockeys, DJ
Mary Geez. Together they assist Grand Hank in explaining the theory behind the science demonstrations.
Target Audience: Age 12 to Adult Duration: 1/2 Hour
