Topic 6: Educational Rap Lecture Presentation
Program Description
This assembly program has a format that contains 3 parts. First, the audience is presented with
a series of contemporary songs with lyrics, which highlight the importance of education and its
role as the cornerstone for future achievement. Next, a member of the Grand Hank Production’s
staff, follows with a motivational lecture, which can either reinforce the themes presented in
the songs or present a more individualized message. The lecture segment would provide the
perfect forum to discuss the current educational crisis and the importance of doing well in school.
Finally, the audience is encouraged to participate in an open forum where they can speak out and
discuss questions and issues in education that concern them. The presentation is designed to be
positive, informative and motivational, in its quest to highlight the importance of
education, self-respect, and respect for others.
