Program Description:
This empowering assembly program is designed to introduce, highlight and reinforce the important
contributions made to science and technology by scientists and inventors from diverse
backgrounds. The program features science demonstrations, with Historical Perspectives on the
scientists and inventors that influenced the science behind these experiments. The ultimate goal
is to provide students with a solid understanding of how contributions to science were made by a
diverse group of scientists and inventors.
Target Audience: Grades K-8 & 9-12
Duration: 60 – 90 Minutes
