Program Description:
The Science Lab of Grand Hank
(SLOGH) is a live and interactive television series produced by Grand Hank
Productions, Inc. in collaboration with the School District of
Philadelphia. The series is developed around the National Standards
for Science Education and is designed to increase the interest and enrollment of
students in the areas of science and technology. The series is hosted
by nationally renowned scientist and educational rapper Grand Hank.
Program Format:
The
SLOGH series combines hip-hop music with science to create an exciting, educational program. Each episode features a special guest Master of
Ceremony (MC), along with some of the areas top Disc Jockey's (DJ's).
Together, they assist Grand Hank with the science demonstrations.
Target Audience:
Middle and High School students and cable subscribers in
the
Philadelphia and surrounding areas.

and
School District of Philadelphia Cable Network
